Test Centres

Each main campus has a Test Centre operated by the Library and Testing Services. These facilities are for students, faculty and staff, as well as the public.

Testing Centres:

  • Provide secure testing environments.
  • Administer ACCUPLACER tests ($25 per module).
  • Administer keyboarding tests.
  • Provide proctor services for other colleges, universities and agencies at a fee. You may use the booking system to book your tests.
  • Provide group testing for external agencies and organizations. Please contact us.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic Testing Services is a member of the National College Testing Association, an organization that focuses on issues surrounding testing in post-secondary institutions.

Testing

Online appointment booking is available for all four campuses. There’s a lot to know about booking exams. As a Test Centre user, you must confirm you have read these three sections.

1. Information about test taking

  • Book appointments well in advance.
    • Students who require the use of the Test Centres for their exams should book all of their appointments as soon as they have their exam schedules.
    • Accessibility students must book their exams a minimum of 7 full business days before their exam or they will forfeit access to their accommodations.
  • Book the length of time the exam is scheduled to be, even if you believe you will not need the full allocation of time.
    • Students 30 or more minutes late for their exam will have their appointment cancelled and the instructor notified.
    • Students less than 30 minutes late will be able to write if their instructor has previously indicated to the Test Centre that late starts are permitted, but will NOT have additional time added to their exam to make up for the late arrival.
    • Early starts are only allowed if the instructor has previously indicated to the Test Centre that early starts are allowed. An early start may only be 15 minutes early and the exam end time will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Ensure the correct details are entered when booking the exam appointment.
  • Provide a copy of your booking confirmation email to your instructor as soon as you receive it. Test takers who do not provide their instructors with a copy of their confirmation emails, risk having their appointment cancelled as their exam may not be available.
