
International enrolment at all-time high while Indigenous enrolment is up after three years of decline.
October 18, 2023 – Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s enrolment for the 2023-24 fall term has reached a 10-year high, with a 27 per cent increase from the previous year. This surge in enrolment reflects Sask Polytech’s commitment to leading the rise of polytechnic education.
With a total of 11,463 enrolments, Sask Polytech has experienced growth across all training levels including a 23 per cent increase in certificate, diploma and degree programs.
After three years of declining fall enrolment, Indigenous student enrolment increased by 7 per cent. The growth in Indigenous enrolment is a testament to Sask Polytech's commitment to supporting and empowering Indigenous students.
International enrolments saw a 60 per cent increase from the previous year, reaching 3,199. This highlights Sask Polytech's growing reputation on the global stage.
