Fall Access to Sask Polytech Campuses

The social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to be profound and far-reaching. Efforts to slow the spread of the virus have disrupted economies and impacted business and industry in ways that were unimaginable only two months ago.

As we lead into this new normal, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, in alignment with all Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions, will be providing its programs via a two-pronged approach to education delivery this fall. A combination of online/distance instruction and limited in-person learning experiences where needed, will give students the best chance of academic success in the ever-changing environment of the global pandemic.

Sask Polytech will continue to invest in and enhance remote learning supports for students and instructors. Although learning experiences may look different in the fall, the quality of a Sask Polytech education and the value of our credentials remain the same. Sask Polytech continues to work hand-in-hand with professionals and industry experts on developing and updating curriculum through our Program Advisory Committees.

As always, the health, safety and security of our students, employees and our campus communities is of utmost importance as we realign academic and business plans for the next year. Sask Polytech will continue to follow the advice of the Chief Medical Health Officer of Saskatchewan, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Advanced Education.

For students concerned about making travel and living arrangements, every effort will be made to communicate program-specific information as soon as possible.

There are still many unknowns. Sask Polytech continues to work on new processes, innovations and safety supports for our campus communities. Our leadership team is dedicated to sending timely COVID-19 email updates, updating our student and employee FAQs and sharing information as it comes available. Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this unprecedented time.
