PRIDE events take place in each of our home communities each spring

May 27, 2019 - This May and June, the rainbow pride flag will be seen at our four main campuses to recognize Pride Week and to show Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s support for our 2SLGBTQ+ students, employee, their allies and communities.

“Respect is a core value at Sask Polytech,” says Tobi Strohan, associate vice-president of Student Services at Sask Polytech. “We want everyone to feel welcome and a sense of belonging on our campuses. Pride Week reminds us of our commitment to advocate respect and equality for our 2SLGBTQ+ community.”

Pride Week is taking place across Saskatchewan during the months of May and June:

  • Prince Albert Pride Celebrations: May 26-June 1
  • Regina Pride Celebrations: June 7-16
  • Saskatoon Pride Celebrations: June 14-22
  • Moose Jaw Pride Celebrations: May 26-June 1

During Pride Week in each city, Saskatchewan Polytechnic will raise the pride flag to support our 2SLGBTQ+ students and their allies.
