PRIDE events take place in each of our home communities each spring

June 11, 2018 – This June and July, the rainbow pride flag will be seen at our four main campuses to recognize Pride Week and to show our support for our LGBTQ students, their allies and communities.

“Respect is a core value at Saskatchewan Polytechnic,” says Dr. Larry Rosia, president and CEO. “Our students, faculty and staff foster an open and inclusive environment that embraces diverse cultures, heritages and opinions. Pride Week reminds us of our commitment to advocate respect for the LGBTQ community and how important it is to study and work in dignity, equality and peace.”

Pride Week is taking place across Saskatchewan during the months of June and July:

  • Prince Albert Pride Celebrations: June 3-9
  • Regina Pride Celebrations: June 8-17
  • Saskatoon Pride Celebrations: June 10-24
  • Moose Jaw Pride Celebrations: July 22-28

During Pride Week in each city, Saskatchewan Polytechnic will raise the pride flag to support our LGBTQ students and their allies.
