Career Services counsellors use a holistic approach with different models
of career decision-making and systematic career counselling. A process
that works for many people involves eight stages as described below. You
and your counsellor will decide whether you need counsellor assistance
for all the stages and which activities will best meet your needs. It is
important to note that time is an important factor in the process and the
more you put into it, the more you can expect to get out of it.
