You will develop an understanding of the role of nutrition as it relates to
general and oral health and disease. Through your studies you will acquire
knowledge of the standards and guidelines for planning and assessing the
nutritional adequacy of diets. You will learn about the function and dietary
sources of the major nutrients. You will discuss the nutritional needs
throughout the lifecycle as well as nutrition-related oral health issues.
