The course will examine the development of social and emotional skills in
early childhood. You will receive instruction and practice in planning
curriculum to meet the social and emotional needs of children. You will
explore how children respond to different social and emotional situations
and the role of the early childhood educator in facilitating healthy social
and emotional development.
