You and Improved

Building on the experience you gained in your first practicum, you will develop greater independence and expand the skill set needed to work as a front-line employee in a residential, centre-based or community-based agency providing services to individuals with disabilities.

You must be assessed for practicum readiness by the practicum advisor prior to registration.

Prerequisites: Employability Skills, Interpersonal Communications, Comprehensive Behavioural Support, Health Promotion, Quality of Life Enhancements, Sexuality and Disabilities, Human Growth & Development, DSW Integration Seminar 2, Crisis Prevention, Person Centered Planning, Professional Role, Intro Disability Support Serv, Understand Exceptionalities 2, Completion of all Disability Support Worker certificate theory courses,
