Red Seal Cook Preparation (CE-2300)

The online Red Seal Cook Upgrader is an online course to prepare you to challenge the interprovincial cook journeyperson exam (Red Seal). The course is delivered through a series of online lessons which include vocabulary, video instruction, suggested readings and cooking assignments, and self-tests to check your progress. At the end, there is a comprehensive final exam to help you know where your strengths and weaknesses lie regarding what you need to study to write the journeyperson exam. All students have access to an instructor to help with questions concerning the course content. All course material is always available . Required material is the textbook Professional Cooking 8th Ed, by Wayne Glissen.
