You will learn about the concepts of pathophysiology to support your
clinical decision making for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and
chronic conditions that commonly present in a primary care setting. You
will study the mechanism(s) underlying various conditions to assist in
understanding how and why the signs and symptoms of these conditions
appear so that rational therapy can be devised. Your knowledge gained in
this course will lay a foundation for the management of primary care issues of the family and its members.
