This course will appeal to those involved in the application, enforcement, sales, installation and testing of backflow preventers. The first part of the course deals with the principles of cross connections, application of devices and current regulations and bylaws. The balance of time is dedicated to hands-on testing in our Cross Connection Control Manual (75% required for successful completion).

This course will appeal to those involved in the application, enforcement, sales, installation and testing of backflow preventers. The balance of time is dedicated to hands-on testing in our Cross Connection Control Lab. Exam to be written on last day of class. Please bring proper eye protection, work gloves and work boots. Recertification is required every five years.
