Aboriginal Nursing Student Achievement Program (ANSAP)

Pursuing your education in nursing can provide many rewarding career choices and experiences. The road to get there can be challenging at times – both personally and academically.  An Aboriginal Nursing Student Advisor can help you achieve your nursing career goals by offering a range of support and counselling services designed specifically for nursing students of Aboriginal ancestry.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic Aboriginal Nursing Student Advisors have been selected for their unique backgrounds and knowledge. They are familiar with Aboriginal and nursing cultures, they know first-hand the challenges you’ll face and the importance of your culture and traditions in your nursing education journey. They are dedicated role-models, mentors and coaches.
