If you have reviewed information regarding the specific tool you are having problems with and are still having trouble, you can access help via phone, email@example.com, or helpdesk.saskpolytech.ca, or you can submit the issue to saskpolytech.ca/report.

Central Standard Time * Saskatchewan does not observe daylight savings time. The HelpDesk is closed on statutory holidays.
What You Can Expect When You Call the HelpDesk
You may reach someone when you call, be placed in a queue or get a message manager. If you get a message manager, please leave a message and someone will return your call.
The HelpDesk will ask you a number of questions regarding the equipment you are using. They may:
- ask you to access a site of their choosing
- inform you that a system is down and they are working on a solution for all students
When you leave a message, remember to leave your Saskatchewan Polytechnic ID, full name, phone number, course information, browser and a description of the problem. If you are simply reporting a problem, the HelpDesk will not call you back unless you request it. Be sure you request a call back if you want one.
The HelpDesk may ask questions that seem unnecessary or repetitious but please be patient. HelpDesk analysts are trained to troubleshoot problems in an organized and logical manner. This is necessary because they do not have the user's computer system in front of them.
Response Times From the HelpDesk
Response times from the HelpDesk will vary, but we will return your call or respond within one hour Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please remember that if the reason you cannot connect is a result of a system-wide problem, the HelpDesk may not be able to respond to your call immediately as they will be dealing with a severe increase in call volume. Be patient and keep trying to get into your course. You might find that after a few minutes you are able to connect without intervention from the HelpDesk.
When contacting the HelpDesk by phone or email, identify yourself as a student or employee. The following information is required:
- your name
- your phone number
- your course
- your instructor
- your Saskatchewan Polytechnic ID
- your browser information
- your description of the problem
