Welcome to Summer Camps 2024! There are many programs for kids, ages 9-17, to enjoy this summer. Camps will be offered in Regina and Saskatoon. Please note that camps will vary by location.

Camp EMS
  • Ages 9-15
  • Ambulances, police cars, firetrucks – does that pique your interest? We hope it does because this camp is one that will have sirens blazing! This camp offers a hands-on experience for you to learn about the work paramedics, police officers and firefighters do every day in our community to keep us all safe. Come and have some fun and learn if this might one day be the career for you!
Construction Sampler
  • Ages 9-12 and 12-15
  • Welcome to our ultimate summer building adventure camp! Get ready for a thrilling exploration of craftsmanship and creativity as we kick off with shop safety. From there, embark on exciting and imaginative projects in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Under the guidance of instructors, you will not only hone your skills in these trades but also delve into the fascinating world of the construction industry. The hands-on camp promises a week filled with learning, laughter, and the satisfaction of creating something truly special. Let the construction fun begin!
Explore Engineering Design and Drafting Technology: Summer Creators
  • Ages 9-15
  • If you are passionate about creating, inventing, and bringing their ideas to life, then we have just the camp for you! This summer camp is designed to help you learn the foundational concepts of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) and turn your imagination into reality. You will use  your creativity and technical skills to design, build, and test your projects. Plus, using computer aided drafting (CAD) software, you will have the opportunity to create 3D models and bring them to life in both the physical and digital world through 3D printing technology. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to explore your creativity and learn valuable skills in a fun and engaging way! 
Gearhead Automotive
  • Ages 9-12
  • A hands-on introduction to auto mechanics and auto body work. You will have fun getting your hands dirty learning the basics of vehicle maintenance – from changing oil to changing a tire and checking fluids. You will also learn about minor collision damage and how it can be repaired. Prepare to get dirty and wear old clothes! 
Get Your Game On!
  • Ages 13-17
  • Jump into the world of game creation. You will create animations and bring them to life in a video game. Change the graphics and the code to make a game of your own! No previous programming or game development is required. Just bring your interest and imagination!
STEAM Sampler
  • Ages 9-15
  • Not sure if you are interested in robotics, coding, graphics or electronics? How about trying them all out! Join us for a week-long journey to experience the world of electronics and everything that includes. During the week you will dive headfirst into electronics, programming, robotics, 3D printing and automation. Each day will bring a new adventure to learn and explore!
Sustainable Innovators
  • Ages 9-12 and 12-15
  • Engineering challenge! Spend five days with us learning that civil engineering is way more hands on than just calculations! Build towers and sandcastles while learning what gives them their strength, examine local water samples to find signs life, utilize GPS equipment to map your exact position and so much more. This is a great camp if you are curious and thirst to understand how the world works around you.
Wild World of Metal
  • Ages 12-15
  • Time for some heavy metal. Over the course of the week, you will learn the basics of building in the steel trades. Machining, welding and fabrication are all important aspects of creating anything possible with steel.

Registration and payment process

Register early as space is limited!

Registrations will be collected through an online form. Payment options will be emailed once the registration is complete and received by the summer camps team. 

Registrants can pay by credit card over the phone or in person by cash/debit at the Regina and Saskatoon Sask Polytech campuses. Instructions on how to pay will be included in the confirmation email received after the registration form is complected and received.
Refunds will be issued for camp cancellations received up to seven calendar days prior to the first day of the camp. You can opt to transfer the full amount to another camp depending on space availability. No refunds or transfers after the withdrawal deadline. 

While Sask Polytech hopes to provide the camp as listed, there are some circumstances that cannot be avoided, and a camp may be cancelled. If Sask Polytech cancels the camp, a full refund will be provided to the registrant.
