This course is for graduates of CCAPP accredited pharmacy technician programs with work experience of less than 2000 hours in the past 3 years. The course consists of activities that will allow the candidate to practice and demonstrate the required competencies important to the profession and listed by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA). Practice and evaluation will be at a placement which the candidate will secure. The selection of a community, hospital or community/hospital setting will require approval by Saskatchewan Polytechnic and must provide sufficient opportunity to demonstrate the competencies to be assessed.
