Northwest Community College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic partnership brings Warehouse Worker program to Prince Rupert, BC

Communications and Marketing - June 6, 2018

June 6, 2018 –Northwest Community College (NWCC) and Saskatchewan Polytechnic instructors are working together to deliver the Warehouse Worker program through a blended classroom that includes two-way video conferencing and online training to Indigenous students in Prince Rupert. Students will be required to complete training activities online outside of the virtual classroom.

June 5, 2018 – In April Saskatchewan Polytechnic carpentry students started construction on fourth Habitat for Humanity home. Last month Level 2 Carpenter apprentices completed the framing and exterior finish of the house as part of their technical training.

June 4, 2018 – The goal is to help increase educational options for current and former members of the military across Canada. Today the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Saskatchewan Polytechnic and National Advanced Placement & Prior Learning signed a memorandum of understanding in support of recognizing military experience in post-secondary settings.
