Indigenous Students' Centres

Indigenous Students’ Centres

Saskatchewan Polytech has an Indigenous Students’ Centre in each of our campus cities. These centres provide support to Indigenous students and enhance the educational experience.

The centres host a variety of cultural activities and events, provide a quiet space to study and a number of services including:

  • Space to study and socialize
  • Computers and kitchens to use
  • Cultural, educational and recreational workshops and activities
  • Smudging ceremonies
  • Soup and bannock lunches
  • Connect with Elders, Knowledge Keepers or cultural advisors

Centre staff are available to assist you both personally and academically to help promote success in all areas of your educational journey. We help with personal and educational counselling, referrals to other success services, equity seat verification and more.

Centres are open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please note that Indigenous student services may vary by campus.
