Power Engineering Technology Program Selection Process Guide for Applicants
Registration Services will send Letters of Offer to top applicants by the end of March. Applicants on the alternate list will remain on the list until the program start date.

Extra points can be earned in the following categories (not applicable for current high school students):

Five or more years of work experience
Two or more years of related industry experience
Mining, Oil Refining, Process Operating, Building/Facilities Management/Maintenance, Piping/Pipeline, Boiler Maker, Electrical, Instrumentation, Plumbing, Powerline, Refrigeration Operation, Steamfitter, Welding/Steel Fabrication Mechanics, in the following disciplines:
- Heavy Duty
- Industrial (Millwright)
To be considered, all post-secondary documents must be sent directly to Saskatchewan Polytechnic from the issuing institution.
In order to ensure that your application is complete, you will need to submit the following:
- Employment history (required if you are applying for work experience points)
- Transcripts for any Post-Secondary education (must be sent directly to Registration Services from the issuing education institution)
