Database Programming (COSC-262CE)

You will learn the structure of program design, development, testing and documentation. You will learn to design single and multi-table databases using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Access. Your course content will include the fundamentals of algorithms and algorithm analysis.

Pre-requisite: COMP 176 Programming is carried out using Microsoft Access SPSS. You can use your own copy of Access or link to Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Access program online. SPSS is owned by IBM. IBM provides student versions of SPSS which can be downloaded online. Books are available at the Regina campus bookstore or online. You will receive a letter informing you where to write exams.
