Now that Saskatchewan has enacted the Environmental Management and Protection Act, persons involved in servicing refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in the provice require halcarbon certification. A training manual developed by the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada will be used in this course. The training material reflects the following three industry secotrs: automotive, stationary and appliance. An interprovincially and nationally recognized, by Environment Canada, certificate will be issued to those who successfully complete the course. 75% required for successful completion.
