You will focus on adult learning principles, sequential teaching, evaluation
of CPR skills by course participants, maintenance and disinfection of
mannequins, and demonstration of CPR skills. Participants will make
presentations on the theory and practise of CPR. Successful course
completion allows you to teach CPR/AED courses as outlined by the Heart
and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Please register by deadline date to allow time for mailing of course materials and preparation for class. Some material must be completed prior to first class.
Prerequisites: Completion of BLS for Healthcare Providers C within the last 12 months
(includes lunch on Sa&Su), 17 hours
