Your clinical experience will focus on coding with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th revision, Canada/Canadian Classification of Health Interventions (ICD- 10-CA/CCI). You will study body systems such as skin, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, blood and respiratory systems. You will also study neoplasm, infection and orthopaedic trauma cases.

Students are not permitted to take CLIN257 and CLIN 258 in the same month. Students must complete CLIN 161 prior to beginning CLIN 257. You must have access to a computer with an operating system of Windows XP or higher. High speed internet is necessary.

Prerequisites: Anatomy and Physiology 2 (APHY 262) (Concurrent), Clinical - Foundations of Health Information Management (CLIN 161), Pathophysiology 2 (PATH 272) (Concurrent)
