You will explore the structure of the health care system and uses of health
information. You will study federal and provincial legislation regarding
health records and the ethical/legal considerations involved in the
confidentiality of health information. You will examine basic health
information management department procedures.
This course uses an asynchronous tool, allowing online access to course material at a time that is convenient to the student.
