In this 5-day comprehensive course you will be introduced to the fundamentals, and obtain hands-on skills with, the popular group of programs in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint. This course is intended for participants who would like to jumpstart their Microsoft Office productivity skills. Upon completion you will be able to immediately apply your new knowledge in your career environment. This course is not recommended for the novice computer user and we suggest you have basic experience with at least one Microsoft Office program. Version 2013.

Prerequisites: Familiarity using computers is required, including basic knowledge of Windows; keyboarding an asset

This course is for students who already have an understanding of the basic features of Microsoft Access. In this course, you will extend your knowledge into some of the more specialized and advanced capabilities of Access which add functionality to your database and will save you time. Topics include: structuring existing data, writing advanced queries, using macros to automate common tasks, and enhancing forms and reports. Hands-on exercises during class will allow you to practice these skills. You will receive a manual for your future reference.

In this class you gain the skills and knowledge needed to create and use worksheets and charts.
