The image of the writer and the organization is enhanced if these documents reflect contemporary writing standards and establish a professional and positive tone. Examine the responsibilities of the minute-take – before, during and after a meeting. Learn how to prepare an agenda and practice recording minutes for both formal and informal meetings. Receive tips and techniques to help you to focus on listening and how to summarize and paraphrase what is being said. This two-day comprehensive writing intensive focuses on preparing correspondence using plain language principles and correct sentence structure, grammar and punctuation.
