Cytotechnology is a diploma program that provides knowledge and skill development in diagnosing disease through the recognition of alterations in cell morphology. The program includes 45 weeks of practicums.

Graduates are eligible to write the national certification exam set by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) and for licensure with the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists (SSMLT).

Selected courses in this program are available through distance and/or continuing education. The program is available full-time at Saskatchewan Polytechnic campus in Saskatoon. For complete program information, check the program page.
