Civil Engineering Technologies

Civil Engineering Technologies is a three-year diploma program offered full time at Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw Campus. It includes five academic semesters and two mandatory four-month consecutive Co-operative Education work terms. The program offers two areas of concentration. Civil Construction and Water Resources.

Selected courses for this program are available through Continuing Education distance and on campus learning. The program is available fulltime at Saskatchewan Polytechnic Campus in Moose Jaw. For complete program information, check the program page.


Your studies will focus on the basic skills required of the technologist in the workplace. You will examine the communication process and interpersonal and workplace communication techniques. The course content includes technical writing job search skills.

Building on the skills you developed in TCOM 102 (Communication in Technology), you will apply basic research skills to create workplace documents. Your studies will focus on the workplace skills of creating effective client relations, conducting meetings and giving presentations.
