    Summer camps can show kids countless career opportunities - Summer camps can show kids countless career opportunities Get your kids to learn something new this summer Every summer, Sask Polytech students and faculty host a number of summer camps for kids looking to learn a new skill or learn about a new career option they’ve never thought possible. These week-long camps, are designed to help kids learn something new, develop their social skills and build their self-confidence. Camps are offered at Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon campuses and are available for children ranging from nine to seventeen years of age.

May 25, 2017 – Tomorrow Saskatchewan Polytechnic will celebrate the accomplishments of 579 graduates along with award recipients at the Saskatoon campus convocation. Over 1,600 students were invited to attend Saskatoon convocation.

Since then, nearly 250 vehicles have been repaired by Saskatchewan Polytechnic Automotive Service and Auto Body Technician certificate students. Today, a long-running but little-known partnership between Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) Salvage and Saskatchewan Polytechnic was celebrated at Saskatoon campus.

    Sask Polytech students have some of the best skills in the world - Sask Polytech students have some of the best skills in the world Skills competitions aim to showcase trade and technology careers Every year dozens of students from several programs at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, ranging from welding to cooking, come together to showcase their abilities in their chosen trade at the Skills Saskatchewan Annual Provincial Skills Competition. Students compete against their peers to complete notoriously intense challenges, vying for a spot on Team Saskatchewan at the Skills Canada National Skills Competition and a chance to represent Canada every second year at the World Skills International competition.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic students design and build vehicle for international competition Ultra-fuel-efficient vehicle slated to compete in upcoming Shell Eco-marathon. April 24, 2017 - Several students from the Mechanical and CAD/CAM Engineering Technology programs designed, built and tested an ultra-fuel-efficient vehicle, which gets its world debut on April 27 in Detroit at the Shell Eco-Marathon. This is the first time Saskatchewan Polytechnic has ever competed in the marathon, and hopefully it won’t be the last.

March 10, 2017 – Olds College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today that will explore the demand for new collaborative programming and applied research into intelligent agriculture. Specifically both parties will work together to provide a foundation of collaboration that will advance agricultural training, applied research and commercialization in Western Canada.

January 5, 2016 - Car enthusiasts across North America will get a glimpse at the restoration work completed by Saskatchewan Polytechnic students when they flip their 2016 BASF calendars to October. They'll set eyes on a beautifully restored 1955 Mercury M100 antique truck that was just one of many vehicles students in the Auto Body Technician and Automotive Service Technician (AST) certificate programs laboured over the last year.
