    Saskatchewan Polytechnic celebrates excellence at Regina convocation - Saskatchewan Polytechnic celebrates excellence at Regina convocation More undergrad students graduate from Saskatchewan Polytechnic each year than from any other post-secondary institute in the province. June 22, 2017 – Tomorrow, Saskatchewan Polytechnic will celebrate the accomplishments of 1,162 graduates along with award recipients at the Regina campus convocation. Almost 366 students will be in attendance at Regina the convocation ceremony.

    Sask Polytech hosts National Aboriginal Day celebrations across the province - Saskatchewan Polytechnic is proud to support our Indigenous students, faculty and staff as we celebrate Indigenous culture on National Aboriginal Day. “National Aboriginal Day is an important event for Saskatchewan Polytechnic,” says Dr. Larry Rosia, president and CEO. “Approximately 18 percent of our student population counts itself as having Indigenous ancestry. Taking time to observe and celebrate our Indigenous culture enriches the institution’s diversity, which is one of our greatest strengths.”

    Celebrating excellence in teaching with faculty award - Convocation is a time to celebrate success, achievements and greatness. Students are given the opportunity to recognize their success, walk across the stage and step into their futures. It’s also a time to acknowledge the incredible efforts of faculty members who have helped their students make advancements in their careers and in their lives through the Faculty Award for Excellence: Teaching.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic honours diversity at second annual Intercultural Week More than 40 events will take place across the province between March 21 and 24 March 20, 2016 – With more than 500 international students and more than 18 per cent of the student body identifying as Indigenous, Sask Polytech is proud to be a culturally diverse institution. In an effort to honour and celebrate how such diversity enriches the learning and work experience for each student, staff and faculty member, Sask Polytech is hosting the second annual Intercultural Week, March 21-24.

Otago Polytechnic and Sask Polytech sign memorandum of understanding
