    Sask Polytech and University of Regina students place second at international nursing competition

    Students travelled to China to participate in the sixth annual International Nursing Skills Competition November 16, 2016 – Two Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN) students received second place in the sixth annual International Nursing Skills Competition in Shanghai, China. The Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences hosted the competition in cooperation with the Shanghai Nursing Education Group.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic's School of Nursing is a year away from its 50th Anniversary Celebrations and the countdown to next year's festivities has begun.

    Sask Polytech hosts interprofessional simulated code blue scenario

    Communications and Marketing - March 17, 2016

    Saskatchewan Polytechnic hosted a mock code blue scenario at the Prince Albert campus simulation centre. The interdisciplinary scenario, a partnership with Prince Albert Parkland Health Region and Parkland Ambulance, required a code team to rush to a specific location and begin immediate resuscitative efforts on a patient in cardiac arrest.
